Jaimie Machado is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner with over ten years of experience working in various healthcare settings. Jaimie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree in 2009 at Saint Joseph College. She began her career in nursing in the ICU at the Hospital of Central CT. She spent eight years working in critical care with Hartford Healthcare and developed an interest in preventative health care. In 2017, Jaimie received her Master of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Saint Joseph.
She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Also, Jaimie holds a certification as an HIV Prevention Certified Provider. In addition, she enjoys teaching and has served as clinical faculty with the University of Saint Joseph. She became focused on providing holistic care for individuals in recovery from addiction. In 2018, Jaimie was a recipient of America’s Top Nurse Practitioner award with Point of Care Network (POCN). She is passionate about providing quality healthcare and having a positive impact on patients’ lives.
